Crossroads

Outline for ADA programming for first time offenders:
  1. The initial phase of Crossroads is 12 group sessions, during this time we will conduct an extensive assessment.  The minimum duration for the Crossroads program is 26 sessions.
  2. After this initial phase a secondary assessment will be conducted to determine the next steps for follow up.
  3. The Crossroads program offers an Open Group format.
  4. Entry into the Crossroads program is initiated with an Orientation which is conducted every Wednesday from 4:00-5:30 p.m.
  5. The Crossroads program meets on Wednesday’s from 5:30-7:30 p.m. 
  6. Referral Eligibility Checklist
    • He must be 17-22 years old.
    • He has never been married.
    • He has/is not living with the woman he assaulted.
    • He has no prior history of assaultive behavior.
    • He has never used a weapon in a violent assault.
    • Victim’s injuries did not require medical attention.
    • He has zero to low risk factor on assessment for lethality. 
    • If during the program additional relevant information was gained about the service participants  history that indicated he did not meet the criteria for a 26 session group, he would be  immediately referred to the long term program format.
         7. All costs are assessed on a sliding scale basis. 
         8. The assessment fee is a minimum of $50.00 on the sliding scale.
